Hanna Rosin: New data on the rise of women
I thoroughly enjoyed this video because the statistics were rather shocking, in my opinion. However, I did find this video to be very biased. I found it biased towards the female sex. The speaker was speaking in way that almost had a negative connotation when she was speaking about the male gender. I was glad that she was speaking "pro-woman" but there could have been a more appropriate way to approach the subject, without potentially being condescending to men.

Sex trafficking definition
Sex trafficking, also known as, human trafficking is defined as the illegal trade of humans for sexual slavery exploitation and abuse. More often then not, sex trafficking is forced upon young women and children. Human trafficking is also considered an "organized business". There are normally brothels where the exploited women are kept. At these brothels there is normally something like a "mother" or "head of the house", this person is responsible for collecting the money from the men and keeping all of the women in the brothel. It is also the second largest criminal industry in the world, first is drug trade.

Reaction to Sgt. Kevin Albanese and Trooper David Aresco's presentation
Reaction to Sgt. Kevin Albanese and Trooper David Aresco's presentation
My initial reaction to Sgt. Albanese and Trooper Aresco's presentation was that I was concerned. Not necessarily concerned for myself, but for the millions of people on social networking sites that put immense amounts of personal information on their profiles. I was concerned because many of Facebook users, for instance, are completely ignorant to the fact that their photos can be stripped directly from their profiles and used as an ad or something of that nature. Also, I was highly disturbed at the frequency of child exploitation on the internet. I feel as though men and women who partake in the exploitation of children should be fined and imprisoned for much longer than the law requires. As the officers said, many of the people whom engage in the exploitation of minors often times are doing something far worse. Whether that something is molestation etc. I think that these people should be punished to the full extent possible under each and every circumstance.
